Darren HolmesDarren is Director of Learning at Enquire where he leads on projects focused across the public services agenda including creating collaboration for Every Child Matters and developing leadership for partnership and inter-agency working. His expertise lies in designing and delivering bespoke collaborative leadership solutions in Local Authorities and schools. Darren is an experienced coach, trainer and facilitator.

Previously Darren was a Lead Facilitator for the Networked Learning Communities programme based at Cranfield University. In this role Darren was a lead developer of the National Primary Learning Networks policy with the DFES.

Darren has written on a wide range of public service issues and has had work published on the establishment of effective learning networks, the design and implementation of collaborative enquiry, coaching and mentoring and the development of leadership for extended provision in schools. Darren is a Research Associate of the National College of School Leadership and a regular presenter at the International Congress for School Improvement and Effectiveness.

Educated at Leeds University, Darren is a former teacher, headteacher and local authority school improvement adviser.

Ronnie WoodsRonnie is currently Director of Programmes and Research at Enquire where he leads on projects focused across the public services agenda. His expertise lies in designing and delivering bespoke collaborative leadership solutions in Local Authorities and schools. Ronnie is an experienced and skilled coach, trainer and facilitator.

Previously Ronnie was a Lead Facilitator for the Networked Learning Communities programme based at Cranfield University. In this role Ronnie was the lead developer of the Collaborative Leadership Learning Programme and was a member of the NCSL project team on Headteacher Succession Planning.
Ronnie is a Research Associate with the National College for School Leadership and his work on leadership sustainability has been widely read and used. His other published writings include a major work on the sustainability of learning networks. Ronnie has been a presenter at the International Congress for School Improvement, British Education Management and Leadership Conference and the British Educational Research Association Conference. A former teacher and headteacher, Ronnie was educated at Durham University and Sunderland University.
