Leadership for Local Area Partnerships

Those appointed have new roles to enact and new challenges to face. Creating more integrated and locally responsive services is the goal but the new ways of working bring unfamiliar complexities; staff who are co-employed, teams which are spread over multiple locations, working with partners who are not directly employed by the authority, aligning line management processes to professional supervision processes, and many others.
The senior officers responsible for leading the development of those local area partnerships have been brought together to form a leadership learning group. Enquire has designed and facilitated a learning programme for these colleagues to share emerging practice, support one another in working through emerging issues and to create coherence across those partnership as well as within them.
